What happened is that i dropped my external hard drive, i monitored that the motor was no longer running when i plug it to the PC and what i thought to do is remove the disks that are inside my 320GB hard driver and put it on another hard driver, will this help me to recovery my data or maybe the might be another option to recovery my data.

Something went wrong during a file transfer to my micro SD card and it got corrupted and my computer asked me to reformat it so I’ll lose the stuff I already had on the card. I did find a few programs that did recover the data but I have to pay for the full version to save them on my computer. The stuff on my card aren’t photos so photo recovery programs don’t help.

I took my Acer laptop to my local computer repair service. They attempted to try to recover the data off the hard drive from it because it failed and I need a professional data recovery service. I want to know how much it is going to cost me as well. I hope the service is near my area zip code 67880. This never happened to me before but I really need the data off of it.
Thanks Barbara as if I need to be told that. I was using my backup hard drive for something else and I didn’t think much of it.
