How to retrieve lost data typed out on website. Is it possible?

Does the hard drive store typed data some place where it can be retrieved?
You may be thinking “it’s just a blog entry, who cares?” but it was actually for a business and even though I have the basics in my head, I could never remember it exactly nor all the info. which I need to put on it.
Please help.
