Data Recovery

I need to get the data recovered off of my crashed hard drive and I have been searching online for different services and companies that specialize in recovery. The price for a single hard drive recovery — no matter the amount of data — seems pretty ridiculous, on the order of $1200-1500 (from 3 different sources). I came across a link to DriveFish.com on one of the forums that I was browsing through which offers $199 flat fee for recovery. This seems too good to be true and before sending my drive with all of my personal data and information I want to determine if it’s legit or a complete scam. I checked the Better Business Buraeu website and couldn’t determine that they were listed. Please provide a method or link to a resource to determine if this company exists and is not a hoax.
